Question Hi. Realize that you stated Photoshop 8.0, but just had a basic question. Do you know if Adobe Photoshop 7.0 will run on Vista? I own 7.0 for my MAC, but just purchased a Laptop that uses Vista. Wondered if it's worth buying 7.0 for this computer. There are decent deals on ebay. Thank you for your help. - Michelle
Answer Hi Michelle,
7.0 will not run on Vista, or I should say, won't run well at all. Yes you can install 7 on a Vista PC, you will have to buy a used version, which is sketchy at best, and Adobe stopped supporting 7 several years ago.
You should seriously consider looking into a newer version. CS3 was built for Vista and has many more features that 7. You'd be amazed.
