Question
Hello Kevin,  Here is a weird one.  I recently installed the CS3 suite extended (PC). This was done after uninstalling the previous stand alone photoshop CS3. Now I have the whole suite. Here is the problem. It gives me an error message whenever I try and open a file that was previously worked on before. I can create a new image, but once saved, it wont let me open it the second time! (Could not complete your request because of a program error)   It does let me open any image that was never opened in photoshop before. But once I save it, i get the error message when I try and open it again.  I reinstalled it and that didn't help.   Any ideas?   Thanks..

Jack

Answer
Hi Jack,

Easy answer, harder solution. Your uninstaller does not do a clean uninstall. You still have to remove pieces manually after you run the uninstall wizard.

Here is the tech doc to help you out. Even though it says "Public Beta" this is the steps you will need to go through to do a clean uninstall/reinstall.

Thanks
