hello.
well, i guess i should get right into it. i have a picture of a mehndi design, and it is silver with a black background. however, the problem i have is that it is a picture, not a proper image. i need it to have no background.. with just the design left.

help??

Sorry for the late reply, I did send you a reply but my PC got hanged and you answer gone with that :-S Now I am writing again.

Follow these simple steps:

. You just have to make background layer as layer o(double click on layer for that)

. Now select the portions of the color you want to get rid off. (use marquee (M) or lasso (L) tool) be very particular in selecting the right patch of color otherwise your details could also be removed.

. Go to Select > Similar and delete the selected area.

. If it doesn’t come out right, follow the application again with better selection patches.
