Adobe Photoshop/cannot save TGA alpha file

Question
Hi Kamal

I am using Photoshop 7 and I cannot save an alpha channel texture file in TGA format, or nay other format It always comes up with saying must be saved as a copy and loses its Alpha channel. Even when I open an old Alpha TGA file from the past it has lost its Alpha channel. I have seen this problem before but I cannot remember how it was fixed. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

Answer
Hi Steven,
When you are saving the file, make sure you checked the "Alpha Channel" box. And also save it as a 32 bit .TGA file. Photoshop will default the image to a 24 bit, which won't work. MUST be 32 bit.

Try again, and let me know if u still need assistance.
If this doesnt work, please send me the file at lamaksstalk@gmail.com
