Adobe Photoshop/High res spot colour seperation

Question
I have managed to create a spot colour successfully using the channels in photoshop CS, and checked the separations in the print dialogue box is correct. I cannot print high res pdfs, even though all my pdf and quark settings are for high res.
I have tried saving as DCS2 which gives me CMYK + spot separations but the results, when viewed in Acrobat are always lo-res. If I save as a tiff, the seperation is only CMYK and excludes the spot colour. Can you help?

Answer
Hiya Tony, sorry for late reply...

What I do in this situation is to use each channel as a separate file in TIFF format.

try separating each channel and save it as its name, and give it to printer.

I believe it will be simple.

don't work on PDF for sending separations as spot...

Hope this helps, feel free to ask anything else,
