Question
As the subject implies, I have a problem printing on Photoshop CS using custom page sizes. I have a Canon iX5000 printer, and when I set up the page size (10 inches wide, 31 inches long), everything seems fine. Photoshop recognizes the custom size and everything. However, when I print, only a portion of the document is printed. I kept printing multiple times to figure out the problem, and it turns out that it only prints an A4 portion of the whole document. I've printed out the document before not with custom page sizes but with one of the page sizes provided (e.g., A3), and it came out fine. I don't know if it's the printer driver (it is up to date), or Photoshop. I'm currently using Mac OS 10.5.4.

I know of no size limitations in Photoshop so I'd have to guess that the problem is with the printer's software. The printer is marketed as A3+ with the ability to handle paper sheet sizes up to 13 x 19 inches, this size limit is probably built into their printer driver. You'll have to contact Canon or perhaps a iX5000 user group to find out if there is a workaround.
