how can i make the canvas rounded in photoshop? My need is to make a rounded symbol and make it into a .bmp file.
Hi Sijil,
The canvas in Photoshop has to stay square, you can make a rounded corner vector mask and save it as a clipping path but you'll have to save it as an eps file for the corners to stay rounded when it's placed in most applications. If it has to be a bmp file, keep it square but fill in the round corners with the same color as your background.
The best way to would be to use a round corner mask or frame in whatever application you are bringing it into or have the application to create a clipping path.
