Question
QUESTION: Hi there,
My printer needs camera-ready artwork for a newspaper ad. I'm going to send a PDF created in Photoshop. My question is, how do I embed the text? Do I do it in Photoshop, before creating the PDF, or do I do it in Adobe Acrobat? I'm using PS CS2, version 9.0.2. Thanks!

ANSWER: Not in PDF but do the text thing in PS, and then convert the entire document in PDF. It will be easy for you.

Hope this will help, feel free to ask anything further

QUESTION: That is my question. I do not know how to do the text thing in PS. Can you please tell me what the process is? Thanks.

Answer
•   Type T from keyboard to select the text tool.

•   Now click on your canvas once, a blinking bar will appear on that point. Here you are allowed to write text now.

•   Once you are done with typing…

•   Press Ctrl+T from keyboard; the typing option window will appear

•   Now press enter from keyboard.

•   You can change the font set size, alignment and other type styles from that menu.

•   Now save the file as PDF (Press Ctrl+Shift+S for save as). And open it in acrobat to see the result.

If still something is unclear, do ask me, i will try to help out.
