Question
I am trying to print some b&w documents from photoshop but when I do, it is very light, only the start of the page and gets progressively worse. I have just got new cartridge's and the printer is pretty much new. It prints from MS Word fine, but when I try insert the jpeg of the photoshop image into word it won't print that properly either. So I think it maybe some kind of image setting in photoshop but I don't know what or how to fix it - Please help!!!

Answer
Hi Sarah,

If it prints color images properly then it may just be a problem with greyscale, try changing it to rgb and printing although this may produce an unwanted color cast. If you have trouble printing all images it may be a memory problem or an unstable connection. Try lowering the resolution of the image and printing. If it were a Photoshop setting that was off it would probably impact the entire image evenly, and not get progressively worse, but just to be safe, save as a tiff, uncheck LZW or any compression, and uncheck embed profile. I'm assuming you meant Photoshop CS 2.

Hope this helps,
