Adobe Photoshop/possible to create a non-editable picture?

Question
I tried a few times putting some text on the photos downloaded from the same web but failed. Everytime I pull out a text box, the cursor didn't appear but only a dot. I can't type any text on it. I wonder if the photo owner has done any setting in it? If yes, how can it be done.

there's no way to create a non-editable picture.
Guess your font size is tooo small. after pulling our the textbox, try increasing the font size at the 'character' dialogue box from the 'window' menu.
