Adobe Photoshop/Photshop Cs2 & Bridge

Question
QUESTION: Hey Kevin .  Thanks for answering this question.  I have installed and registered CS2 and Bridge.  I am having trouble double clicking from Bridge to CS2.  It brings up other  image viewers (eg Picassa, Paint, etc).  When I go into Bridge Setting or "open with it" does not show CS2. I have spent several hours chasing rabbits -seen a lot of holes but no rabbit yet.  Hopefully you can pull up a rabbit.

ANSWER: Hi Don,

I need to know what operating system you are using (Mac OSx, Window XP, Vista, etc.).

Thanks

Kevin

QUESTION: Hey Kevin thanks for such a quick return on the answer.  Oops on the op sys.  Windows XP. Thanks

Answer
Hi Don, locate Photoshop and launch it first without Bridge open, then go to file>browse and bridge will launch and should open your files in PS. However, if your files were created in another application, bridge will not automatically open them in Photoshop, they will be opened in the app they were created in.

To change this, it is a system issue, go to a file and right click to properties and choose the app you want it to open in and then apply all.

Thanks

Kevin
