Adobe Photoshop/Problem with printing

Question
Once I'm done editing all of my images I go back through and re-crop every image to make sure it will print out correct. Then I save them to a disc. When I take the disc to print off copies of the photos sometimes the images are too big to print off (normally 4x6). Alot of times the images are out of the printable margins. I'm starting to do alot more of photography shoots and I would like to make sure the disc I'm giving people will print off exactly what they want without cutting peoples heads off or other stuff like that. Please help! Thanks!

Answer
Hi Lynnsie,

I would make a 4 x 6 template in the color space and resolution you prefer and keep it handy. When you are done editing an image you can select all or part of it and paste it on the template, Flatten layers and save as... new name.
This will save your edited photos uncropped, should you want to use them cropped differently, and will insure that all your cropped copies to save to disk are the same size, resolution and color space.

Hope this helps,
