Hi Glen,

Before I am asking you this question, I already tried search all other previous questions available here. And my problem is closed enough with this one, dated 9/6/2006:

I'm still using CS2 (unfortunately) when suddenly my text would not show up on the artboard. It, however, did show up in the title in the Layers palette. I tried to change the font size and colors, repair and reinstall the whole program, but the words are still not showing up. What should I do? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Haaziq,

If the font is set too large for the text box, it will disappear and still show up in the title of the layer.
Make sure you have the text tool selected and then drag a large text box over your canvas. After you type a few letters hit Ctrl A to select all and try reducing the font size. You can only make changes to the type when it is selected. Make sure you have the letters in a contrasting color.
The only other thing I can suggest is to go to the character and paragraph palettes and in the flyout menu from the triangle on the upper right corner select reset character or reset paragraph. This will reset the type characteristics to the defaults.
