Question
Hi, I have the software Pantone color chooser 3.0 and I want to use those colors in Photoshop7.  I'm having trouble getting PS to "talk to" the new program.  How do I import those new colors and add them to my swatches library?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi Jen,

First, make sure you are using the latest version of Photoshop 7. The update is available here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=1851

You can use Color chooser as a standalone application or you have to launch the color chooser from Photoshop.
"In order to use the PANTONE for fashion and
home color chooser 3.0, you must create a new document and place
an object or an image on it. Next, go to Edit>Preferences>General
and make sure the Color Picker is set to the Windows Color Picker.
From the Tools toolbar, click on either one of the active colors to
launch the PANTONE for fashion and home color chooser 3.0 window."

If you are on a Mac, please post a follow up as there are additional steps you have to take to make color chooser available to the system and Photoshop. Also, let me know what system you have.

The swatch libraries included on the chooser disc are for Illustrator only
