Question
QUESTION: Ok ive reinstalled my CS3 again and again ..i even formatted my system ....
What im getting is when i go to run actions ,i get on some Feather command could not be done,or copy ,i get alot of commands not done and the action stops half way ...Is there anyway to reset the tools and commands ...??
Thanks Jo

ANSWER: Hi Jo,

There is no way to reset actions and tools specifically, but you can reset the entire app by holding down shift+alt(opt)+ctrl(apple) when you start up.

More than likely you are trying to run an action or command that does not work with the type of file you have open. If resetting does not work, which Im assuming wont, please give me more details on what you are working on, what actions you are running, file type, colors, size, number of layers, etc. The more information I have, the better I can answer your question.

Thanks

Kevin

QUESTION: Ive attached a preview i took of one of the error messages i get ...All my actions worked fine till i had a slight freeze on comp ,then when i reformatted now half my actions wont work ...Thanks for tha advice thou i will try that next time i start up
Thanks
Jo

Answer
Hi Jo,

This sounds like you have had some issues when you reformatted and you may need to do a clean install. You will need to completely uninstall all Adobe Apps and run the clean up script found at adobe.com (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html).

Then reinstall as a clean install not an upgrade or anything. Somehow you have corrupted some of your resource files.

Thanks

Kevin
