Question
I have my scan picture settings om my HP Deskjet 380 set so they send my scanned artwork to "my scans"  in photoshop, but the files keep going to DEST.  I don't know what this is and I can't find the files after I close then reopen them.  Obviously I am a newbie who is teaching myself photoshop by online tutorials etc

Hello Vickie, does your scanner asks you after scan the file where you want it to be saved? if not, then check your scanner file saving setting. this must be inside prefrences or general setting option. check the scanner window menu thoroghly you will find it. and once you see set it to somewhere you can remmeber.

One more thing, if you are failed to find that panel, try checking your 'My Documents' folder, most of the scanner makes their default folders inside my documents with the names like 'Photos', or Scan 380 etc etc, check the inside directories and all, hope that will help you,
