Adobe Photoshop - can't open Photoshop CS

Question
I'm on Mac running OX 10.4.11 and can no longer open Photoshop CS or any other Adobe programs. It tries to open them but fails as do Illustrator and Acrobat 6. Other programs like QuarkXpress open okay. I have tried trashing preferences and also re-installed the programs but no change - any ideas?

Hi Pete,

I would try removing the programs and before re-installing them try running Disk Utility, Repair Permissions or Onyx from Titanium Software.
