Question
Kevin, I forgot to say in my last question that accepted file formats are: .pdf, .ai, .psd, .bmp, .cdr, .dlk, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .pub, .doc, .docx, .pcx, .pic, .pict, .pct, .png, .ps, .svg, .svgz, .tga, .vda, .emf, and .wmf.

Wow! That's a lot! So, a .php or .html to one of those. Can it be done?  Thanks so much!

Answer
Connie,

I know what formats are accepted by the apps, but PHP and HTML are not accepted in either Photoshop or Illustrator. They are web pages.

If you can open your .php or .html pages in a web browser, can't you print them to a pdf format? You can use Acrobat to web capture them. However, either way you will not get a 300 dpi image, only 72 dpi web image. That is the issue at hand.

My query about this is PHP and HTML formats are just web pages, which means you have linked images or graphics somewhere that populated these pages. Are your linked images hi-res? If not then it wont matter whatever you do, they will always be lo-res.

It would be easier to recreate the pages using these original graphics and would solve your resolution image.

Thanks

Kevin
