Adobe Photoshop/PE6 default dpi

Question
Can I change the default resolution setting on PE6 ?  On version 2.0 it was 300 dpi, which is what I always work to.  On recent versions the default is 240 dpi, which means I have to change it on each file I work with
thanks for your time.

Answer
I'm sure there is a way to change the default setting. I don't have PE6 installed right now, so I can't tell you for sure where it is. However, if you can't find it in the preferences, just create a custom workspace OR at least make yourself a document template, save it, and work off that every time you want to create a new file.

Expertise

I can answer any and all questions regarding Adobe Photoshop. If you need help with layers, masks, channels, paths, fixing photos, drawing by hand, or even filters, feel free to ask me.

Experience

I have been teaching Photoshop in the classroom and online for almost a decade. I currently teach online at http://www.PhotoshopLearningZone.com

Education/Credentials
I am completely self-taught with Photoshop - which I believe is the best way to learn. A good book, tutorials, and experts (such as those here at AllExperts) to ask question of is the best way to understand a subject. I have been an Expert here at AllExperts in several other catgeories (MS Word, Excel, Windows, etc.) for a long time.
