Adobe Photoshop/Resizing Images

QuestionQUESTION: Hi there,
I'm doing a website layout in PS and I have about 5 or 6 images that are all different sizes. I want them all the exact same size without having to resize each one individually. Is there a quick and easy way to do this?
This will save me lots of time! Thanks
ANSWER: hey there,
Ok, I realize that there might be an official way, this is my lame way that I know works.
Open each picture into a document of their own. (make sure they are the same dpi as the website document).
for each one
go to image
image size
set you size. (if you don't want the image stay in proportion, unclick that box).
drag the image into your website.

QUESTION: OK thanks, I was just hoping there was a quicker/easier way b/c when I'm creating something I tend to change my mind a lot:) so I end up resizing things a dozen times as I try different layouts. I have another unrelated question. I understand that 72 dpi is the standard for website designing - I have few images that I want to blow up really big - but they are all blurry - I'm guessing because of the low resolution - How do i get around this, or what am I doing wrong?
AnswerI went a played for second. What you can also do is make your image the size you want, then click your next image and hit shift, apple, T. This will make your image the same size. (I always forget about this one). Don't forget to make a copy of the original size before you do this.
ya...sadly you can't make an image bigger. You can make it smaller, but not bigger.
The only way you can cheat this, is if it's a .pdf. If it's originally a .pdf (or can be made into one because it was an Indesign or Illustrated document) then you can open your file at a higher resolution, then bring it into you 72 dpi file. Vola!
Now...sometimes...you can take your image that was not an original .pdf, place it in illustrator or Indesign, make a .pdf, then open it in photoshop and it will actually work. This has worked 50 per cent of the time for me...But it takes all of 10 minutes to try.
