Adobe Photoshop/Download into Adobe Photoshop
Expert: Candice Anderson - 3/22/2009
QuestionHi Candice, I have Kodack Easy Share and Adobe Photoshop. Priro to having problems with my device to download I had no problem getting the photos to download to Adobe. Now it all goes to Kodack Easy Share. I have some there now that I would like to transfer (all of them) to Adobe, how do I do that? And how do I prevent from having to do this?
Thank you
AnswerHi Karen,
Either photoshop set itself back to default, or your Kodak software. If you have a Mac, all you need to do is right click one of the pictures and click other. Choose photoshop and click on the button on the bottom that says Always open with.
If you have a PC, I'm not really sure. The only way I can think of is to set everything back to default. You only have the option, as far as I know, to open certain files in photoshop when you first install the program. (if you were to re-install, you will get a box during installation that asks how to you want to open jpegs, gifts, etc...).
As for transfering over, Adobe doesn't really have a folder for you to transfer into. In fact, this is the first time I've ever heard of photoshop actually downlaoding pictures from a camera. To be honest, the easieat way is to get a card reader and move all the files onto your comptuter and work from there. Downloaders take up too much space. But I konw I'm a rare one to hold that opinion.
So, all you need to do is move the files away from the Kodak viewer by making a new folder on your desktop and then right click and opening them up in photoshop.
