Adobe Photoshop - emailing a Photoshop document as a flyer

Expert: Kamal Krishna - 3/5/2009

Question
Follow your v. useful response to Julia on 6/4/2007 (linking and mailing a Photoshop document) I am attempting to do the same using Method 1. Please can you give me advice re the settings I should use for my document?? All I've found out is that the width should ideally be at 600 px. I'm a relative design novice but can use Photoshop/Indesign. I just want to send a fairly simple but nice looking eflyer out without getting into scary html territory!

Answer
Hey Sim,
there aren't any special settings for this.
Since its going to be an onscreen document it has to be light enuf to download fast.
So the recommended settings would be:
Width: 600px
height: 600px upto 1000px
resolution: 100dpi.

if you are saving it as a jpeg then.
File>Save for web..>
use Preset 'JPEG High'

that's all.

gud luck
- Kamal Krishna
