Question Dear Kevin,
A problem I cannot find a solution to. I've reduced some JPEG images with Photoshop, I've decreased the pixels by going to Image/Size, but after printing them they all look "pixelated", losing a lot of quality, and looking quite blurry. I could understand if I had made them bigger, but not smaller. Any suggestions? I'd appreciate your prompt help, as I'm in a hurry. Thanks in advance for your time.
Sincerely,
Marcelo
Answer HI Marcelo,
Reducing the number of pixels means you have reduced the overall size of your file. This will cause images to eventually look pixelated if the resolution is low. My suggestion is to double check your resolution and make sure it is set to the proper ppi (72 web, 150-200 inkjet, 300 for commercial printing). That is probably your culprit, but also make sure you are not reducing size too much.
