Question
Hi there, I'm trying to open the adobe photoshop Cs4 program on my computer which has been extracted from a memory stick on to my desktop and everytime I try open it I'm getting an message saying the program cant start because msvcp80.dll is missing from my computer, it tells me to try reinstalling the program to fix it but I've tried that and it doesn't work. I've tried scanning for any viruses and malware etc but nothing I try seems to fix the problem, please help

Hi Emma,

You should never copy an application from another source. You are missing key resources, it has nothing to do with viruses. The reason it does not reinstall is it is finding remnants of the copied version.

You will need to completely remove CS4 first then do a clean install.
