Question
hello

I've problem with my actions hope you can help  me. when I load actions to my photoshop everything goes well but when I close the photoshop and open it again, actions are gone or deleted and I need to load them again. what can I do to save them in my photoshop?

thanx

Answer
Hi Fanoo,

The actions you load should remain in the actions palette when you restart Photoshop.

Make sure that the actions are on the same hard drive as the default actions, which are in the Application folder>Presets>Photoshop Actions.

You may store your own actions in this folder, but make sure you back it up before doing a Photoshop upgrade or the upgrade may overwrite the folder and your custom actions will be gone. I create a folder called "My Actions" in the presets folder for my added actions.

If all your actions are on the same hard drive and they still aren't being retained by Photoshop, then it may be a corrupted preferences file. You can replace this easily by pressing down Command-Option-Shift (Mac) or Control-Alt-Shift (Windows) immediately after you start launching Photoshop.

Hope this helps,
