Adobe Photoshop/Resizing a multipage pdf presentation in CS3

Question
I just made a Multipage PDF Presentation in CS3 on Windows Vista 32bit.  The file is too big to upload, how to resize the whole thing down?  Do I have to go page by page?

Answer
Hi Justin,

Since this came through the Photoshop Question, I'm assuming you used Photoshop to create this. If you created it using Photoshop, you will have to go page by page. The only way to  downsize a Photoshop PDF is to change the resolution. Photoshop PDFs tend to be much larger than normal ones.

Acrobat Pro has a "Reduce File Size" option but that does not work on Photoshop PDFs since they are in essence just a large image file, no real text or single images to reduce.

However, if you have InDesign, that would be best. Place all your information in a multiple page layout and export out as a PDF. Change the presets to "Smallest File Size" if you just need to upload and send it. If you need this to print in a halfway decent quality, try using "High Quality Print". Unfortunately you do not have these options when you save out as a Photoshop PDF.

Thanks
