Question
Sir,
I have number of psd files in drawings. by mistake I typed text on the drawings and finally merged the layers and saved. The problem is how to delete the text only from the drawings. Those text are somewhere merged on drawings so that I cannot separate drawings from text. when I want to delete the text the drawings are deleted partly. Please help me.

Answer
Hi Kaushik-artist2010,

Whenever you work on layered Photoshop files that may need to be edited later, it is a good idea to save a layered version and make a copy when you flatten it. That being said, once you have flattened an image or merged a type layer with another layer, the type is rasterized and merged with the image and can not easily be deleted.

You will have to delete the text carefully and recreate the drawing in the background using the brush and clone tools, much as you would do when removing the date stamp from snapshots.

Hope this helps,
