Question
I have professional photos of my girl-friend where the photo studio has placed a slightly larger/smaller semi-transparent image of her (either the same image or different) in the photo.  I really like the effect and am wondering how to do it with CS3.  Thank you. Rory

Answer
Hi Rory,

The effect involves layers. You take your original image and then copy/paste another image into that original image. Then using your layers panel, you can reduce the Opacity setting and change the Blending Mode (the pulldown says "Normal") to blend the second image into the other.

If you need to scale, you can use Cmd+T (mac)/Ctrl+T(pc) to scale the image down in size.

Thanks!
