Adobe Photoshop/Photos look 'pixelated'

Question

bad edge
Well, pixelated probably isn't the right term... you can see in this pic on the subjects cheek. The edges on most of my photos look like this in PS only- not in PS RAW, or even Bridge... or saved as a jpeg and viewed through another program... just in photoshop. These are all large files straight from my camera. Also, when using the paint brush, if its larger than '150' (which isn't overly large on these photos) the 'circle' turns into a semi circle!
I used to have CS3... but haven't used it in years- I now have CS5. So I don't know if this is normal behaviour or not... I can live with the brush problem, but the bad edges are horrible!
Please Help!!

Answer
Hi bernie,

Press Ctrl+K and navigate to the "Performance" tab. Turn off everything in Advanced Open GL options.
