Adobe Photoshop/Rounding Pictures

Question
I have read on here how to round a pic but when I selected the Orange and deleted the background and then saved it... when I opened it, the white background was still there. How do I save the Orange so it does not have a background when I grab it from a picture?

Answer
HI Frank,

You must save your image as a .png or .tif (layered) with the image on a layer with no background layer beneath it. If you save this as a jpg or another file that does not support layers or transparency, it will flatten your image onto a background.

Thanks

Kevin
