Hi Glen,

Thank you very much for the infos that you answered to my questions, but I am still trying to figure this out. Do not get me wrong, but I would like to know how to get ragged edges out of the text I type and also in shapes in photodshop 7 and even if I, well I probably will want to place strokes in the text and shapes as you saw in my image that I sent you if you remember?. I am still having problems getting the ragged edges out of the text and shapes. Could you pass on to me how I can fix this? Thank you, Glen

Hi Martin,

The way to reduce the ragged edges are to increase resolution. For a good example click here; http://www.bestprintingonline.com/resolution.htm#high

The ragged edges are created by the pixels that make up an image and to eliminate the ragged look, you have to increase the resolution, which also increases file size, or switch to a vector or drawing program such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or Macromedia FreeHand.

While you can create vector graphics in Photoshop 7, any attempts to apply effects or styles to these will usually result in Photoshop rasterizing them. For a more in depth discussion click here; http://www.bestprintingonline.com/resources/art1250.htm
