Adobe Photoshop/Blending 2 images together

Question
Hi,

I remember asking you a Photoshop question (bevel and emboss effect)few months back and was very happy with the solution. I also asked you if you have an expertise in Indesign to which you said yes.

Actually my issue is quite easy(hopefully) but since I am a noob I need some help!

I would like to merge/blend 2 images so that it appears as a continuous one image.

Here is what I would like to achieve which I have uploaded on google to explain it better:

I have also attached the indesign file.

Do you think you wil lbe able to help me?

Thanks

Answer
Hi Deepak,

Good to see you're still doing design-related projects!

I can't seem to locate the InDesign file you attached but I have looked at the Google doc. My advice to you is to actually use photoshop whenever you are working with blending photos together. Then, you can add text and other elements in InDesign, because it is mainly meant for layout purposes (such as creating fliers, books, newsletters, etc). Unless you just want to use one image and place is in a shape with a wave at the bottom, like the one in the Google doc, that's possible in InDesign but the image has to be prepared prior to that.

Which two images are you tying to blend? Perhaps send me a screenshot of your InDesign file if you aren't able to upload it!
