Adobe Photoshop/Drawing a trapezoid

Question
Hi Glen, hoping you can help out..... I'm trying to draw a trapezoid in Photoshop but for the life of me cannot figure it out. .... If I distort a rectangle, it becomes just that... distorted and loses it's isometric look.

Am appreciative for any help you can give.

Thanks Ed

Answer
Hi Ed,

Once you select your rectangle go to Edit>Transform>Perspective. You can create a trapezoid by moving in either top corner and skew it by moving the top middle handle. Apply the transformation to see what it looks like because the preview is kind of rough.

Hope this helps,
