Adobe Photoshop/Reducing PDF sizes...

Question
Hi Richard,

I have to add text to multiple PDF files in Photoshop after I color them. However, after I add the text to the PDF files they become enormous! I would really like to know if it's possible to save the PDF file as an image as to reduce the size of these files? Or maybe there's another way? After all of the files have been completed in Photoshop, I then have to create one file in Acrobat that will consist of multiple PDF files of the storyboard.

Any advice you could give me concerning this topic would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your time!

Brian

Answer
I've had this problem before too. The issue might be the resolution of your images. When I create a PDF file using the Acrobat Print Driver, I just manually set the resolution to something like 150 or 300 dpi. Give that a try. Acrobat should compress that image for you.

Let me know if you have any other questions or comments.

I have been teaching Photoshop in the classroom and online for almost a decade. I currently teach online at http://www.PhotoshopLearningZone.com

Education/Credentials
I am completely self-taught with Photoshop - which I believe is the best way to learn. A good book, tutorials, and experts (such as those here at AllExperts) to ask question of is the best way to understand a subject. I have been an Expert here at AllExperts in several other catgeories (MS Word, Excel, Windows, etc.) for a long time.
