Hi Kevin,

I am using photoshop 7.0 (don't laugh, I know its ancient haha)
I am learning by myself and would like to know how I could eventually make a living with photoshop. I have played a bit and built some websites, through dreamweaver, nothing great, but I have fun.what should I concentrate on in photoshop ion your opinion, how do I go about it. I will eventually save up to get adobe photoshop 5.5 :-))))

Hi Carol,

The best option is to go to a community college or something the like and learn Photoshop from a professional instructor. I'm not sure how it is over in NZ, but here in the US we have schools for graphic design and photography that teach PS, DW, IL and more.

If you are thinking of learning on your own, try Lynda.com and concentrate on color correction and photo retouching. However it is a challenge to make a living just off of PS, more skills = more money.
