Adobe Photoshop/ADOBE "BLEEDING"

Question
I am using adobe photoshop and I am about to publish  a magazine. I was told from the printing house that I should be doing "bleeding" on my pdf files before sending them for printing. How can I do that?

Answer
Dear Angelos,

Bleeding is called to be the margins area that a page keeps around it. Before printing.

What happens is, suppose we need to print an A4 edge to edge printing document; lets say a background, which is covering the whole paper

For this, you will need to create a slightest bigger size paper from A4, and spread the background all around the paper including margin area. So that after printing, the printer will cut the paper on actual A4 size.

This action helps creating fine finished documents. Because the printing machine uses some area to grip the paper, and that is the area, which is not printable.

Hope this helps, Feel free to ask anything further
