Question -
All of a sudden when I either move a color JPEG or copy and paste into a new window a color JPEG, the JPEG in the new window is now black and white. These are JPEGs from a digital camera. The color is on the original JPEGS but are not on the new JPEG. I combine a lot of pictures into a collage. No problem before, but now they lose their color.

Answer -
this is going to sound silly, but
go to image
mode
make sure your on CMYK
that should do it

Thank you for your answer. Do I have to this for all images? Or is there a way I can change to CMYK that will apply to all images?

Answer
I take it that you are making a new file, then just dragging over the file, yes?

When you make a new file, you will notice a dialog box that pops up.  make sure that the color is CMYK, not Grayscale (and that your dpi is 300 if you plan to print). Once you do this once, you should have no troubles after that.
