Question
How do I make a rectangle with rounded corners? I don't want to manipulate a photo. I want to make a stand-along rectangle that I can place in my Website and add text. I want the option of filling the rectangle with color or leaving just the outline. Thanks.

Answer
Hi Wayne,
am not sure about Photoshop Elements.
But will try to tell you the way its done in Photoshop. I hope its same there.

First method: Using Marquee Tool, draw a rectangle first, then in "select>modify>smooth" menu. Adjust the Sample Radius to 10 or 20 pixels or the way you desire. You may then fill it with any color.

Second Method: In the "Tools Palette" If you Long Press the "Rectangle Tool" and select "Rounded Rectangle Tool". Adjust the Radius in the "Options" palette in pixels and draw the rounded corner rectangle.

Hope this has helped you.
