Adobe Photoshop/Batch processing adding artifacts

Question
I'm running a batch processing Photoshop elements and changing
the name of the photos. When I compare the before and after
images, it is cler the the batch processing has added some strange
artifact to the images. Instead of individual pixels, every 64 are a
separate square.
What am I doing wrong?

Answer
I'm going to need more information.

Can you send me an example?  There has to be something going on with your action, for all it should be doing is opening and resaving, then closing...yes?

Unless you're talking about the little white square that occurs in .pdfs.  I suggest printing it and see if its still there.  If it's not, its something going on in Photoshop.
