Question

Could someone please walk me through the exact recreation of this logo in photoshop. A video walkthrough would be of great great help.

Does the text need to be done in illustrator? Or can a circular type be done in photoshop?
Bringing the file as a psd into illustrator to do the type, I feel destroys the quality and resolution, does it not?

Hey celeste,

You can create the text in Illustrator also without having fear of quality loss.


Else; there's a way to achieve the same effect in the PS also.


. Type the text in Photoshop
. See options palette on the top, here you will see an icon next to text color palette (T with a curve line beneath) called create wrap text.

. Select this tool

. Once the menu window appears, select the 'arc' style from the drop down menu, here you can make changes to the curve as per the need.


. Click OK, and you will get the curved text.
