Question
I would like to create a picture similar to the one at the Southwest.com website (http://southwest.com/) that has the family with the white bordering. Can this be done in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and if so how? If you know of a tutorial you could point me to please do so.

Answer
hey there,

yep, its very easy actully

1. open your photo
2. create a new document with a white background.  This should be the size you want your picture to be
3. move the picture over
4. Ctrl + T (this is a the transform command) make sure the layer selected is the picture
5. move the sides in until you get the desiered boarder size

or

1. open your photo
2. make a sqare (the tool for this is under the text tool in the tool menu) around your picture
4. press the brush tool and get the size you want
5. select white for a color
3. go to the paths tap, next to layers
4. the little triangle, hit that
5. stroke path
6. choose brush
7. done ;)
8. if its not how you like it, just undo, change the size of your brush and do it again.

I like the first way better, it looks prettier.
