I am new to Photoshop and am trying to figure out how to create a design in a 1" circle.  Specifically I am wanting to design bottle cap images.  Thank you for any advice or direction to where this information may be found.

take you ruler tool, which is under the eye drop tool (2nd row, 2nd to last one - hold down the bottom to reveal the measure tool)

make a one inch line - look at the menu bar on top and you'll see the numbers moving to indicate your measurement

take your circle tool, which is under the square - it's right above the measuring tool

choose the color you like

press the shift key as you drag out your circle to encompass the line.

I collect bottle caps, fun :)
