hi, hope you can help :) every time i open a file (jpg,psd, etc...) in photoshop an error reading: "prop res dll not loaded appears about 8 times but only happens upon opening the very file for the session, this error does not appear on subsequent files unless i closed down photoshop completely and re launch.... then the same happens again! thanks in advance for any advice you can give

that's weird...

I googled it and it seems to be a office problem. This is how you would fix it, had it been an office problem:

open the registry editor (start > run and type regedit) go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/microsoft/ and delete the key "office". Same as in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/microsoft/ delete "office". Restart your PC and reinstall Office XP.

this might fix the problem? Maybe?


My other thought is that you have a virus, or a "free copy" of photoshop and something is wrong in the coding.

Run Norton, update adobe files, quicktime and your PC.

If you have Mac, I HAVE NO CLUE! Call Adobe...
