Question
QUESTION: Hi Candice,
Thanks for volunteering!
I have Photoshop Elements 4.0.
I want to know how to make "funny" images where I can put another persons head on to someones body (My macho friends head on an old lady's body etc etc). I heard of a program called "Face on Body" but I feel sure I can do this within Photoshop, but I don't know the terminology or pathway to do this sort of manipulation.

Is that sort of thing a form of "layering"?

Any help would be great!
Julian

ANSWER: Hey Julian,

1. select your face that will go to the other body
play with the tool that looks like a lasso, if you hold that tool down, you'll have other options

2. open the picture of the body you wish to place the head on

3. take the arrow tool and move the head from it's document, to the body document.

done ;)

QUESTION: Hi Candice,
Thanks for the tip.
Have tried it and it allows me to move the "Head" to another "Body", but the head remains as a circle of dots on the old head. I can trace the head, and move it, but can't paste (replace) the existing head...any ideas?

Best Regards,
Julian

Answer
not sure what you mean by a cirle of dots.

move the head over, place over the original head and if there's anything sticking out of the original, either make your new head bigger (ctrl + t), or take you stamp tool, press alt on something similar to what is sticking out, and stamp over the stuff that sticks out.

;)
