Adobe Photoshop/Fuzzy Text
Expert: Candice Anderson - 7/8/2006
QuestionHi there,
I'm creating a label picture that I can just plug into the label template in Microsoft word.
Anyway, the label is 4" x 2". As it's rather hard to look at on the screen I used the "View Fit on Screen" option to do most of the work. Of course both the pictures and text were fuzzy while doing it and when I look at the 'true' size everything looks fine.
Anyway, when I print the text is fuzzy. I did use the anti-alias options but it doesn't really make a difference.
How can I get the text to look nice and crisp when I print it? I'm on a laser printer and it looks like I printed it off using an inkjet.....if you know what I mean.
Take care and thanks for your help.

Answerhmm..
At the top where it says anti aliased, there is a drop down box that says "normal, crisp and something else (sorry, photoshop isn't on my computer so I'm guessing") choose normal. If this doesn't work, choose crisp. (you must highslight the word to make this work)
Photoshop is not the best place to make labels for this reason. My suggestion is next time do it through illustrator. I'm not sure why photoshop does that, but unless I'm making a need effect, I don't type in photoshop. It almost always looks funny.
