Adobe Photoshop/Glass look with example. Please help!

I included a link. I am trying to achieve this look, esp. the glass like parts, like the ball around the D and the background.

your help is appreciated.

Thanks for your question. The background is a simple gradient with a path laid over the top. In the Photoshop help files, look up "Pen Tool" and that part will be clear.

The glass ball effect is very popular, and there are thousands of tutorials all over the web. Here's a great one to start with:
