Expert: Candice Anderson - 1/3/2007
QuestionHi, im doing a school project and im a newb at adobe. See, what im trying to do is make a picture of homer simpson have a crown on him.(Its for king lear). So my question is, how do i take the crown.jpg and make the white background transparent, and put it on homers head? Then once thats done, id add a beard, and put the picture in microsoft publisher, and put patty, selma, and marge as the 3 daughters. Its sort of like a promotional poster, only with a simpsons twist. Thanks and godspeed.
It would be awesome if some1 could get me an answer before the 8th of january 2007, cos thats when its due.
Answerhi,
1. Use your magic wand (the wand in your tool box on the left) and click the white space.
2. Press apple, shift and I, which will select the inverse (the crown)
3. move the crown over to Homer.
4. don't ever open publisher again. :)
5. open up the marge picture in photoshop.
6. In Homer - hold down the shift key on the layers toolbox (on the right - if its not there, go to window, layers) and move Homer and his crown to the picture with Marge.
Beard: use the brown paint brush and if you have time, play with the filters.
or
if you have a mac, there is a program called Istache. It's free, google it, and it will take any picture and create a mustache for you. It's fun :)
