Question
I have a picture of a world outline on a door, it is all black except the world outline.  When I open it on photoshop to edit, it shows as a square with the world in the middle.  How do I remove the black from the four corners.  When I just cut them out it leaves a white background on my website, I need just the world outline to be on it.  thanks, glenda

Answer
what?

are you trying to get rid of the background? of an image and the inside, just to leave a world outline?

go to your wand tool, select each black piece and delete it.

to save for web:
file
save for web
you can play with the items, or just say yes.

sometimes that works. if it doesn't get rid of the square when on the web, you'll need to make a background that will match the backgroup you are placing the globe on.

hope this was the right answer :)
