Question
Is there a way to merge 2 images of different qualities? Like putting the picture of me and Spiderman standing next to each other?

Answer
yes

heres what you do

1. take your lasso tool (the one that looks like a lasso) and draw around yourself. or

Take the pen tool, the one that looks like a pen and place a tracing path around yourself.  Just click and move the lines until your done.  I can't really explain it, you just have to do it. Alt click each time you make a part of the path before you make a new piece.  Then in the paths tab (next to the layers tab that should be on the bottom left of your screen) apple click your path, you should be now selected. (there are so many more steps here, but its easier once you play with it for a minute).

when selected, take your arrow tool and move yourself over to the spider picture.  It will probably look funny, so what you need to do is then play with the many options under the image, adjustments tab.  There are many explainations that I can give you, but it's just fun to play with them.

pheww, have fun :)
