QuestionQUESTION: I am trying to make some baby announcements similar to the one here...

I think I need to use layers to do this, but what I am not sure of is how I get the multiple pictures all onto one item.
ANSWER: one item?
are you trying to move all of your pictures into one document so that you can make the layout like the one on the sight, (which I like very much :) )
1. start a new document
2. make it the size you want
3. set your color to CMYK and your resolution to 300 (if you plan on printing this)
4. Open each of your photos and move them over.
You may notice that the photos got smaller when you moved the over. This is because you moved your low quality pictures into a high, print worthy document.
if you didn't notice, then nevermind :)

QUESTION: Yes into one document...
When you say move the photos over... what do you mena by that. That's where I have the photos open but not sure how to ove them into one document.
Answer1. open document
2. press the arrow tool in the toolbox on the left (or press V)
3. drag the photo from where it is, to the new document. literally. try it. (if it doesn't, make sure it's not locked. you'll know it's lock if theres a lock on the layer - just double click, press ok, and then you can move it)
4. as you move each picture, it becomes a layer on it self. So the first picture you move will be layer 1. The second picture you litterally drag over to the document will be layer 2. and so on.
